Trout Tales, July 31

I dug out my safety gear again this year for Saturday’s Ozarks Got Talent show at Zone 4 Mini Golf & More. There’s a fiery trend at this event, and I always say, “Safety first.” Last year, Frederick “Fahrenheit” Tackett put on a firespinning, fire-breathing, firework-shooting first-place performance in the inaugural talent show. This year, his son, Christopher, spun his torches to another first-place finish. I had the best safest seat in the house way up the hill, and Christopher did an incredible job keeping the fire where it was meant to be. I can also again report there were no lemons or butter nearby, which also made me feel much safer. I am now very curious about next year though. How many more Tacketts are this good at playing with fire? Will we see a father-son performance next year? Can anyone not risking their life win the talent show? I suppose only time will tell.
