Challie Ann Allison, 61, of Cassville, Mo. passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024, surrounded by her loving family, in her home.
She was born February 12, 1963, in Carthage, Mo. to Robert “Bob” Windsor and Sherry Kay (Cox) McPherson.
Preceding her in death were her dad, Bob McPherson, father-in-law, Floyd Allison and an aunt, Becci Herron.
Survivors include her husband, David Allison, her mother, Sherry McPherson of McKinney, Texas; two daughters, Amanda Gross and husband Anthony of Brighton, Mo. and Jennifer Allison of Cassville, Mo.; one sister, Robin Manson and husband Bill of McKinney, Texas; her mother-in-law, Pat Allison of Cassville, Mo. and two grandchildren.
She grew up and attended school in Carthage Mo., graduating high school in 1981. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Cassville.
As a young mother, Challie owned and operated a day care which allowed her to be a stay-at-home mother. Shortly after moving to Cassville, Challie started working for the school, where she held many positions. She was an active member of her church, teaching in the children’s ministry, hosting Sports Crusaders, coaching Upward Basketball, and assisting with Vacation Bible School.
Services were held at Saturday, August 10, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Cassville. Pastor James Weaver conducted the services. Burial was at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter, Mo.
