Leroy C. Utter, 67, of Joplin, Mo., finished his earthly mission and departed this life on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark.
HewasbornSeptember 4, 1956 in Shelton, Wash., the son of Olin “Toney” and Mary (Pearson) Utter, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were two sisters, Toni Leann Elkins and Linda Holly and two sons, Johnny Carlin Utter and Travis Leroy Utter.
Survivors include one son, Toney Utter of Purdy, Mo.; five daughters, Stormy Holtzman of Kansas City, Mo., Crystal Scott-Perryman of Springfield, Mo., Tabatha Madison of Cassville, Mo., Tandi Goutney and her husband Jessie of Cassville, Mo., and Lyndi Utter of Cassville, Mo.; four step children, Chris Taylor, Robbie Rusher, Sherry Cutberth, and Danny “Boomer” Rusher; one brother, Larry Utter and his wife Pam of Rocky Comfort, Mo. and eight grandchildren.
He grew up and attended school in Exeter, Mo. He worked most of his life as a wastewater supervisor in Exeter, Mo. He was a member of the Exeter Church of Christ Services were held Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Tony Intessimone conducted the services. Burial will be at Chitwood Cemetery in Wheaton, Mo.
