A Noel man was injured in a wreck at 2:57 p.m. on Thursday on Highway 37, one mile south of Cassville.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Darian Sandoval, 20, of Noel, was driving a 2024 Honda XL150L northbound and was following another vehicle too close. When the other vehicle attempted a turn, Sandoval attempted to avoid a collision, which caused the motorcycle to travel off the roadway and overturn.

Sandoval suffered serious injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Cassville.

He was wearing a safety device, and the motorcycle sustained minor damage.

The highway patrol report did not list the second vehicle or its driver.
