Florencio Villa Leiva, 76, of Purdy, Mo., passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, at his home.

He was born February 23, 1948, in San Jose de las Corrientes, Mexico the son of Francisco Villa and Magdalena Leiva, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Sanjuana Arroyo Carrillo; four sons, Jose Villa and his wife Estela of Purdy, Mo., Alvaro Villa and his wife Mary of Purdy, Mo., Lorenzo Villa and his wife Maria of Purdy, Mo., and Gustavo Villa of Ft. Worth, Texas; six daughters, Genoveva Villa and her husband Isaias Rodriquez of Mexico, Maria Magdalena of Ga., Esperanza Villa of Chicago, Ill., Margarita Villa and her husband Miguel Rodriguez, Rosalba Villa and her husband Jose Manuel Rueda of Purdy, Mo., and Odetth Villa and her husband Jose Miguel of Monett, Mo.; two brothers, Francisco Villa of Mexico and Gregorio Villa of Mexico; four sisters, Gumercinda Leiva of Mexico, Gabriela Villa of Mexico, Francisca Villa of Mexico and Porfiria Villa of Mexico; 30 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

He was a crop farmer and raised cattle.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Visitation was held from Sunday, September 1, 2025 at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. Burial will be held at a later date at San Jose Cemetery in San Jose de las Corrientes, Mexico.
