Paul Herbert Holmes, 80, of Monett, Mo. passed away on September 7, 2024, at his home.

He was born November 12, 1943, in St. Joseph, Mo., to Gene and Lorna (Parr) Holmes, who preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death was his wife Carole Mayer, and one sister, Sarah Holmes.

Survivors include his children, Lisa Holmes, Jeff Holmes, Angela Holmes, his stepson, Travis Jarnagin, plus nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

He was a graduate of Gower High School. He lived in the Kansas City area and raised his family, then moved to Oklahoma City where he worked as a truck driver for United Transport and in 2011, they moved to Table Rock Lake in Golden, Mo.

A memorial service celebrating both Paul and Carole Holmes will be held at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, Mo. on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 10:00 A.M.
