Run gets a couple, pass incomplete nearly picked off by Pickett, next pass complete to force fourth and 4. Punt goes to the 22 after personal foul called on Cassville.
Goutney gains 3, Roark gains 3 more, false start makes it third and 9, pass to Barrientos complete for a first to the 35. Rose gains 3, Goutney adds 6, Thompson bursts through for a 56-yard touchdown strike. Cassville tied it 7-7 with 5:47 left in the first.
Kickoff returned to the 47, Patriots gain 7 across midfield, then a first to the 43. Penalty moves it back 5, run gains 1, pass complete for 4, false start makes it third and 15, QB scrambles and run out but another personal foul called for hit out of bounds gives Patriots a first at the 26. Another scramble loses 4, complete pass moves the chains to the 13. Run gets 1, another gets 3 to end the first.
End 1Q: Cassville 7, East Newton 7
Run gains 4 for a first at the 2. Run gains 1, next one gets in. East Newton takes 13-7 lead with 10:00 left in the second quarter.
Cassville returns to its 43, Rose gets 4, Goutney gains 5, them a first to the Pats 44. Thompson gains 5, Roark punches through and pushed for a first to the 33. Direct snap to Goutney gains 3, pass to Thompson complete for 5, then Thompson breaks free and spins off a tackle for a first at the 13. The same number is called again and Thompson goes up the middle to paydirt. Wildcats lead 14-13 with 5:11 left in the second.
Bouncing kick returned to the East Newton 45. Pass complete to the opposing 45. Two passes incomplete, run gets a first to the 24. Pass complete and fumbled but recovered by Pats, run gains a first to the 19. Pass complete but out of bounds in the end zone, run gains 1, pass complete for a first at the 3. Crossing route caught for a TD. East Newton goes up 21-14 after QB scrambles and hits a loose receiver for a 2-point conversion.
Roark is cracked on the return and drops it, Patriots recovers at the 26. Pass to the goal line just broken up by Rose. Roark breaks up a RB pass blindly to save a TD. Pass complete for a first at the 15. Ball spiked with 57 seconds left in the half. Offensive pass interference moves it back. Pass complete to make it third and 25, bomb is caught and another pass scores from 8 out. Patriots now lead 28-14 with 26 seconds left in the second.
Kick returned to the Cassville 34, Rose hits Roark on a screen pass gaining to the 48 with 13 seconds left. Pass to James gains 10 and stops the clock. Bomb to the end zone falls incomplete as clock expires.
Halftime: East Newton 28, Cassville 14
Kick return is fumbled a second time, Patriots recover at the 47. James breaks up a pass, run breaks free for a first to the 26. Run gets 2, pass complete for 2 more, pass gains another first to the 10. Run gains 5, next one scores. East Newton now leads 35-14 with 8:19 left in the third.
Goutney downs the kick at Cassville 26. Thompson gets 1, pass complete to Roark for 1, pass incomplete to bring fourth and 8, pass complete but stopped at the 28, where East Newton takes over.
Run loses 1, pass caught for a first to the 11. Patriots score again on next play, go up 42-14 with 5:44 left in the third. A third personal foul called on Cassville on the PAT.
Rose returns kick to the 23. Rose gains 4, Roark moves the chains. Rose stopped at the line, then runs for a first to the 46. Ball fumbled and recovered for loss of 3, pass incomplete, Rose scrambles to make it fourth and 3, pass dropped and ball turned over on downs at Patriots 47.

Two gains go for 6, pass complete for no gain, Patriots go for it and James picks and overthrown pass and returns to the East Newtonn 41.
Rose gains a first to the 32. Thompson jukes for another to the 14. Thompson gains 5, Rose gains 2, then finishes the drive with a 7-yard TD. Patriots lead 42-21 with 8:23 left in the game.
