E3 Meat Co. supplies The Rib

The Rib Steak House in Cassville is continuing its partnership with E3 Meat Co., which supplies beef to the iconic restaurant while doing some good at the same time.

Zanetta Campbell, owner of The Rib, said the product, which the restaurant has used since reopening in November 2022, is all-natural and well-liked among area cattlemen with high standards. E3, based in Fort Scott, Kan., partners with family ranchers to produce grass-fed beef with no added hormones or antibiotics, held to E3 Certified Beef program standards.

All proceeds from the beef operation are funneled into the E3 Ranch Foundation, conceived in 2017 by Major League Baseball player Adam LaRoche and his wife, Jennifer. The Foundation serves combat veterans, efforts to fight human trafficking and humanitarian support during global crisis.

This three-pronged approach has evolved in a way that only God could orchestrate,’ the Foundation’s website said. ‘[Our mission is to ] put God’s love into action by serving others, helping those in need, and ultimately introducing them to Christ.’
