Bobby Gene “Bob” Cooper

Bobby Gene “Bob” Cooper, 78, of Cassville, Mo., passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Roaring River Health and Rehab in Cassville, Mo.

He was born on April 20, 1946, in Wheaton, Mo., the son of Everett and Mattie (Haynes) Cooper, who preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death was a son, Bobby Cooper; one, brother, Don Cooper and five sisters, Zelma Francisco, Ina Lee Tucker, Maxine Brattin, Lavetta Stipp and Helen Riddle.

Survivors include his wife, Darelyn Burns; his daughter, Melissa Garland and her husband Joe of Cassville, Mo.; four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

He grew up in Wheaton, Mo. where he graduated from Wheaton High School. He owned and operated Bob’s Custom Cabinets in Wheaton for many years from where he retired.

He served as a deacon at Solid Rock Southern Baptist Church Services were held at Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Solid Rock Southern Baptist Church in Wheaton, Mo., under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. Pastor Scott Mitchell and Pastor Jerry Francisco conducted the services. Burial was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Butterfield, Mo.
