Goutney returns to Cassville 33. Handoff loses 1, Rose gets a first to the 45. Bailey tripped up for a loss of 4, pass to Roark incomplete and holding moves it back to make it second and 24, Roark catches for 5 to bring third and long, fumble recovered by Mt. Vernon at Cassville 36.

Bailey breaks free right again for a 79-yard touchdown to give Wildcats back the lead 28-27 with 10:04 left in the third quarter.

Haros gets the first touchback of the season, Mountaineers start at own 20. Swing pass gains a first at the 30. Run gains 3, then 3 more, pass incomplete to bring fourth and 4, Mountaineers punt to Cassville 23.

Rush gains 4, Hughes adds 4 more, Rose sacked and Cassville punt returned to Mountaineer 28, Facemask moves it to the 32.
