Lee Shepherd, 64, of Purdy, Mo., passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024 at his home.
He was born September 15, 1960 in Monett, Mo., the son of Jim and Willodean (Swaffar) Shepherd, who preceded him in death.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Eddie Shepherd and Craig Fellenstein; two grandchildren, Kolter and Cheyenne, and in-laws, Fred and Beverly Harris.
Survivors include his wife, Chris Harris; three sons, Josh Wiseman and his wife Kanisha of Cassville, Mo., Andy Shepherd and his wife Rebecca of Ozark, Mo., and Jonathan Shepherd of Monett, Mo.; one daughter, Jessica Williams and her husband Curtis of Marshfield, Mo.; 12 grandchildren, and one on the way, and a host of family and friends.
He attended school in Cassville, graduating from Cassville High School in 1978 and then earned his Bachelor Degree in Business Management from College of the Ozarks. He owned and operated Shepherd Truck Lines for 35 years and retired in 2023.
Services were held Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, Mo. Pastor Jerry Nickle conducted the services.
Burial was at Gunter Cemetery in Butterfield, Mo.
