The city of Cassville’s contractor, Emory Sapp & Sons, is expected to begin street resurfacing work this week in the city. Street improvements will be made to:

• Billy Drive

• Carole Street

• 14th Street from Fair to Park

• Park Avenue from 14th to 13th

• Fair Street from 12th to 10th

• 10th Street from Fair to Harold

• 11th Street from Fair to Mill

On each street, milling machines, asphalt pavers and other machinery will restrict driveway access for short periods and cause intermittent lane closures. Drivers may be temporarily inconvenienced as progress is made but there will be no formal or extended street closures.

Drivers and pedestrians are urged to be cautious and exercise patience in active work zones. Adverse weather or other issues may affect the schedule.
