Verona woman arrested following wreck

A Verona woman was injured and subsequently arrested on Sunday following a wreck at 5:19 p.m. on Route C, five miles east of Purdy.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Bailey Seely, 28, of Verona, was driving a 2005 Dodge Caravan eastbound when her vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and struck three fences and a tree.

Seely sustained minor injuries in the crash and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Joplin. She was wearing a safety device, and the vehicle was totaled.

According to a Patrol arrest report, at 6 p.m., Seely was charged with driving while intoxicated, no driver’s license and careless and imprudent driving involving a crash.

She was released for medical treatment.
