Lawrence Dean “Larry” Dudley, Sr.

Lawrence Dean “Larry” Dudley, Sr., 83, of Cassville, Mo. passed away Friday, November 1, 2024, at his home.

He was born December 20, 1940 in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Albert and Mary (Streck) Dudley, who preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death was his wife, Susan Marie Kindler; grandsons, Mike Dickson and Larry Dickson; two brothers, Dusty and John and two sisters, Joyce and Dolores.

Survivors include three sons, Lawrence Dudley, Jr. of Dubai, Paul Dudley and his wife Lori of Springfield, Ore., and Joshua Dudley and his wife Katrina of Cassville, Mo.; three daughters, Tami Dickson of Cassville, Mo., Lori Golubski of Cassville, Mo. and Teri Dudley of Cassville, Mo.; 17 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He grew up and attended school in Kansas City, Kan., graduating from Turner High School. After graduation he served in the United States Air Force. He was employed by the Kansas City Fire Department, Station #18 in Kansas City, Kan., from where he retired in 1994 as a captain.

He was a member St. Edward Catholic Church.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 14, 2024, at St. Edward Catholic Church in Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Father William Hodgson will conduct the services. Burial with military honors will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville, Mo.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
