After finishing the season undefeated this fall, both the Cassville Middle School Seventh and Eighth Grade Football Teams have been named Big 8 Conference Champs in their respective divisions. “Both of these groups played with tremendous effort and I couldn’t be prouder of their progress,” said Robbie Artherton, Head CMS Football Coach. “I’m excited to see what this year’s eighth-grade team accomplishes at the high school level. For our seventh-graders, their next challenge is to set a strong example for the sixth-grade group joining middle school football next season. Our goal each year is to show growth from start to finish, and I believe we achieved that.” CMS football staff includes Artherton, Nathan Fortner, Chris Fortner and Joseph Reuter.
