Three Cassville women were injured on Nov. 12 in a wreck at 3:10 p.m. on Highway 37, one mile north of Cassville.

According to a probable cause report filed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, which no longer divulges names of individuals involved, a 78-year old female, of Cassville, was driving a 2014 Honda CRV northbound in the right lane and made a left turn into the path of a 1999 Peterbilt semi tractor pulling a trailer, which was passing in the left northbound lane.

The driver of the Honda and two passengers, a 79-year-old woman and 87-year-old woman, both of Cassville, each suffered serious injuries. The driver was transported to Mercy Hospital in Cassville, and the passengers were transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.

The driver of the Peterbilt, a 63-year-old male, of Avilla, was not injured.

All involved were wearing safety devices. The Peterbilt sustained minor damage, and the Honda sustained moderate damage.
