Sheila Harris/sheilaharrisads@gmail.com gmail.com During a chili and fly-fishing gathering at Roaring River State Park on Saturday, Sharon Yoker, fellowship coordinator for the Southwest Missouri Fly Fishers, explained that the club, based in Springfield, is for anyone who likes to fly fish. “We have 100 members, primarily from the Springfield, Ozark and Nixa areas,” Yoker said. “There’s a small annual due and meetings are held monthly at South Haven Baptist Church, in Springfield.” In addition to meetings, the group hosts monthly fly-tying workshops and periodic casting classes, Yoker said.
