Troy Youngjin Park, 30, of Cassville, Mo., passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024, at his home. He was born November 10, 1993, in Fairfax, Va., the son of Jerry and Hye Kyung (Cho) Park.

On Oct. 19, the Exeter High School band participated in the Missouri Southern Homecoming Parade in downtown Joplin. The Tiger Band finished in third place in the small school division. The city of Cassville has awarded a contract for mulching of vegetative debris from the May 26 windstorm piled high west of the municipal airport. The city sought bids on grinding 17,740 cubic yards of debris — equal to about 5,980 tons of mulch — as well as mobilization costs.
