The Barry County Council on Aging (BCCOA), a vital resource for local seniors, is reaching out to the community for financial support to continue offering essential services to senior citizens in Barry County. According to a Council press release, currently, the council’s programs and resources are funded exclusively by the Barry County Senior Citizens Tax Fund Board.
Rebecca Ann “Becky” Bates, 74, of Shell Knob, Mo., passed away Monday, November 4, 2024, at her home. She was born March 28, 1950, in Vincennes, Ind., the daughter of Russell William and Edith Mae (Powers) Wilson, who preceded her in death.
After finishing the season undefeated this fall, both the Cassville Middle School Seventh and Eighth Grade Football Teams have been named Big 8 Conference Champs in their respective divisions.
