No injuries in Main, Hwy. 112 wreck

Pickup turning on flashing yellow collides with car

Despite seven people being involved, there were no injuries in a wreck on Friday at 3:20 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Highway 112.

According to a Cassville Police Department report, Samantha Graves, 30, of Golden, was driving an 2014 Dodge Ram 2500 southbound on Main Street and proceeded to make a left hand turn onto Highway 112, colliding with a northbound 2013 Honda Fit, being driven by a 17-year-old male, of Cassville.

Graves stated she was approaching the Main Street and Highway 112 intersection and the traffic signal was presenting a flashing yellow arrow when she made the turn.

The driver of the Honda stated he was traveling north on Main Street approaching the intersection, which was green but changed to yellow as he was traveling through the intersection. The Honda driver stated Graves turned left through the intersection at the same time and collided with the front of his vehicle.

There were four passengers in Graves’ vehicle, including Jonathan Wiatt, of Lampee, two male juveniles and one female juvenile.

There was also a juvenile male passenger in the Honda.

None of the seven involved sustained injuries.
