First-year Cassville FFA Chapter members recently attended the Area Greenhand Conference. Greenhands is a term commonly used in FFA to describe first year members. Members participated in interactive workshops and learned about how to be a positive role model and make a difference in their school and community. Students were also encouraged to set goals for their education, careers and their FFA experience. “We are really excited to see what our Greenhand members gained from this conference and how they will utilize what they learned in our community and FFA chapter,” said Lindee Mitchell, CHS Ag Education Teacher and FFA Advisor.
