



National Beta members from Cassville High School are celebrating their recent participation in the Missouri Senior Beta Convention.
They were announced as winners of the following competitions:
• Caitlyn Bonass, 1st Place in Fiber Arts
• Elly Ramaeker, 3rd Place in Drawing
• Lorelei VanDerhoef, Madison Robertshaw and Kennedy Truman, 3rd Place in Digital Portfolio
• Cannon Rose, 3rd Place in Sculpture
• Rose Meng was the recipient of the $1,500 Missouri State Beta Club Scholarship The Missouri Beta Convention allows students the opportunity to compete in various individual and team competitions. Cassville Beta had 34 members compete in 42 academic and visual arts events.
These victories at the state level provide an opportunity to compete at the national level. The National Convention will be held at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida during June 2025.
With more than 500,000 active members and 14,000 clubs nationally and internationally, National Beta has become the nation’s largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization. National Beta promotes the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.
National Elementary Beta includes grades 4-5, National Junior Beta includes grades 6-8 and National Senior Beta includes grades 9-12.
