Glenn Reagan Pennington, Sr., 74, of Golden, Mo., passed away Monday, March 10, 2025, at his home.
He was born February 27, 1951, in Houston, Texas, the son of Fred and Ruth (Kelley) Pennington, who preceded him in death.
Also preceding him in death was his wife Sharon Yargo.
Survivors include three sons, Glenn Reagan Pennington, Jr. and his fiancée Deanna Vestal of Golden, Mo., Fred Lee Pennington, his wife Teresa and daughters, Azlee and Juniper of Lawton, Okla., and James Robert Pennington and his wife Rebecca of Lawton, Okla.; sister, Frances Martin and her husband John of Crosby, Texas; granddaughter, Kelsy Lechner of Lawton, Okla.; daughter-in-law, Tammy Ann Byrd of Lawton, Okla.; niece, Kelly Sikes of Liberty, Texas and nephew, Scott Martin of Bella Vista, Ark.
He grew up and attended school in Tarkington, Texas where he graduated from Tarkington High School. He retired from the United States Army as staff sergeant in 1995 in Lawton, Okla., at Fort Sill after 26 years that included serving three tours in Vietnam. He had lived in Golden since 2023. He was a member of the Iron Order Motorcycle Club, and was involved with a horse rescue organization.
He was of the Baptist faith.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 28, 2025 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Tony Ball will conduct the service.
