Peter Henderson, Jr., 93, of Shell Knob, Mo. passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

He was born December 1, 1931 in Chicago, Ill. the son of Peter Henderson, Sr., and Harriet (Hodek) Henderson, who preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death was his son, John Henderson.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Frank; his son, Robert Henderson and his wife Mary of Nashville, Tenn.; four daughters, Sandy Mol and her husband Jan of Aitkin, Minn., Laura Henderson of Chicago, Ill., Jennifer Malkowski of Shell Knob, Mo. and Leslie Gordon and her husband Tom of Nashville, Tenn.; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

He grew up and attended school in Cicero, Ill.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1949 until 1953. He was employed in sales for a packaging company.

He loved softball; he played until the age of 85. While playing his last game, on his last at bat, he hit a home run. At 75, he built a home in Shell Knob for himself and Beverly.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
