Phillip Wayne “Phil” Ford, 71, of Lowell, Ark. passed away Friday, April 4, 2025 at Mercy Hospital Northwest Ark. in Rogers, Ark.
He was born May 31, 1953 in Williamson, Illinois the son of Clyde Elijah and Matilda Susan (Fields) Ford, who preceded him in death.
Also preceding him in death was his brother, Jerry Don Ford, and sister, Matilda Susan Skelton.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Carol Vanderpool; daughters, Brandy Thiele and her husband Erich of Rogers, Ark. and Jennifer Wages and her husband Travis of Rogers, Ark.; brother, Elijah Clyde Ford and his wife Sumi of Las Vegas, Nev.; sister, Nancy Robbins of Cassville, Mo., and two granddaughters.
He attended school in Cassville, Mo., graduating from Cassville High School in 1971. He continued his education at MSSC in Joplin, Mo., where he attained a BS in Accounting. His passion for education was not just personal, as he became an advocate for learning, promoting education. He was an accountant and owned his own business, TaxTime in Springdale, Ark. for ten years, he worked as a machinist and farmer.
A memorial service was held Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
