The Barry County Fair Board has announced the 2022 dates and exhibits.
The Barry County fair will be held June 25, in Butterfield. The Circle M Cattle Company has donated the use of their barn this year for the fair.
The Barry County Fair is a non-profit organization that work closely with the community and local schools to promote agriculture with the younger generation. The fair helps to get youth involved, but to also share agriculture with the public.
This is the ninth consecutive year of the Barry County Fair. The fair is open to any youth ages 8-21 involved in 4-H or FFA organizations exhibiting livestock. Youth 7 years of age and younger are considered part of the pee-wee class.
Barry County youth who are eligible to sell in the Livestock Premium Sale must reside in Barry County and have entries postmarked by May 25 to be eligible. Entry fees are $20 per person. Late entries will be taken but will be $40.
The Fair’s location will be 11969 State Highway 37, Butterfield, MO 65623.
Commercial booth space is also available for vendors this year at the fair and will have a $10 fee.
