Shirley “Joann” Beeson, 87, of Monett, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022, at her home.

She was born in Butterfield, on March 15, 1935, to Luther and Dorthy (Boyd) Roller. On Aug. 1, 1953, she was united in marriage to Mitchell Beeson, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Danny Beeson of Phoenix, Ariz., and Kenneth Beeson and his wife Anna of Monett; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one son, David Beeson; two grandsons; one granddaughter; three brothers, Dale Roller, Bill Horn and Rick Horn and one sister, Barbara Stillwell.

She attended Cassville High School. She worked as a beautician for 30 years.

Graveside services were held Monday, June 6, at Russell Cemetery in Butterfield under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Rev. Jerry Nickle conducted the services.
