Two individuals were caught on video surveillance breaking into Freedom Bank in Golden, though Sheriff Danny Boyd said the pair left empty-handed.
Exterior footage provided by the bank shows two people in a black minivan, and footage from inside the bank showed the two, both wearing pantyhose on their heads, as well as facemasks.
“We got an alarm call to Freedom Bank in Golden, and when we got there, it was obvious someone had busted out the glass,” Boyd said. “From what we gathered, and a bank representative came down, they did not appear to be anything missing.
“We found multiple drawers opened and rummaged through, and other drawers they tried to pry open but remained locked.”
Boyd said the individuals were not able to locate anything of value.
“From the bank security cameras, you see the vehicle pull up and two suspects,” Boyd said. “They were in the building anywhere from 7-12 minutes.”
Boyd said the investigation is ongoing, and though posting the stills online has led to leads, none have led to any arrests.
“If anyone has any information, please contact the Sheriff’s Office,” Boyd said.
