Katherine Lanora Pinkston, 73, of Fairview, passed away Friday, Dec. 23, 2022, at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville.
She was born Aug. 8, 1949 in Haskell, Texas, the daughter of William and Ruby (Shepherd) Brandstetter who preceded her in death.
Also preceding her in death were husband, Larry Ellis Pinkston; one daughter, Debra Kay Calder and four brothers, Pat, Royce, Donny and Marvin.
Surviving are three sons, Doug Calder and his wife Tanja of Salado, Texas, Tony Calder and his wife Rynae of Sachse, Texas, and Richard Pinkston and his wife Amy of Norfolk, Neb.; two daughters, Tammy Beery and her husband Craig of Wilmington, Ohio, and Kathy Terriquez and her husband Jesse of Fairview; one sister, Frankie Susan Branstetter of Coleman, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She attended Lakeview High School in San Angelo, Texas. She played bass guitar in a family band named True Country.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2022, at Leigh Community Building in Leigh, Neb. Burial will be at Leigh Cemetery in Leigh, Neb.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
