Otis Dale Reed, 86, of Cassville, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, at NHC HealthCare of Joplin. Otis was born on Aug. 23, 1936, in Cassville, to Delmar and Geneva (Reddick) Reed. He is survived by wife, Nancy (Myers) Reed, Cassville; three children, Jerry Dale Reed, of Cassville, Suzanne Rush, of Kimberling City, Melanie Skinner, and her significant other, Jeff Hutson, of Cassville; and seven grandchildren. Otis was preceded in death by his parents, Delmar and Geneva (Reddick) Reed. Otis served his nation proudly, and honorably, in the United States Army. He was an employee of Hiland Dairy, Otis delivered milk to homes, eventually transitioning to store delivery. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
