Dorcas Agnes Haney, 83 of Cassville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023 at her home.

She was born January 29, 1939, in Oakmont, Penn. the daughter of Harry Michael and Emma (Wadsworth) George, who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death was one son, Marty Haney; father-in-law, Carl Haney; mother-in-law, Allie Haney and eleven siblings.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Haney; three sons, Nathan Haney and his wife Lou Ann of Cassville, , Shannon Haney and his wife Dove of Cassville, and Jon Haney and his wife Gayla of Monett; one daughter- in-law, Connie Haney of Cassville; one brother Ruben; one sister, Deborah; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Dorcas attended Colton High School in Colton, Calif., but after visiting this area and loving it, Dale and Dorcas along with their family members moved here from Mountain Ranch, Calif. in 1993. They moved their family business, Haney Construction Company here as†well.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, at Corinth Baptist Church in Cassville, Missouri. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Reverend Leonard Sansom will conduct the services.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time Saturday at Corinth Baptist Church in Cassville.
