Phyllis Loraine Howe, 89, of Exeter, Missouri passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023, at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville.

She was born February 4, 1934, in Exeter, the daughter of Guy and Hazel (Cole) Hooten, who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, Freddie L. Howe.

Survivors include two sons, Allen Howe and his wife Jane of Exeter, and Gary Howe and his wife Carey of Exeter; one daughter, Laverna Roller and her husband Danny of Exeter; one sister Oleta Catron and her husband Robert of Conroe, Texas; eight grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Phyllis grew up and attended school in Exeter, graduating from Exeter High School.

She worked at Justin Boot for twenty-six years from where she retired.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Exeter since 1948.

Services were held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Exeter, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Jerry Yarnall conducted the services. Burial was at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter.
