Mickey Alan Gold, 66, of Springfield, passed away at 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at Mercy Hospital Aurora.

He was born October 21, 1956, in Aurora, the son of Richard Dale and Anna Lea (Carl) Gold. 

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Aurora.

Preceding him in death was his father, Richard Gold, Sr.

 Survivors include his mother, Anna Gold of Aurora; one brother, Richard Gold of Springfield; one sister, Cheryl Jackson and her husband, Gary, of Springfield; two nieces, Melody Carter and her husband, Chuck, of Aurora, and Melissa Dudolski and her husband, Scott, of Carthage; three great-nieces; three great-nephews; one great-great niece; two great-great nephews and many cousins. 

A memorial service under was held on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Aurora. Burial will be held at a later date at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the American Cancer Society or ARC of the Ozarks, in care of the funeral home.
