Ralph Edgar Lamberson, 86, of Purdy, passed away Friday, March 24, 2023 at Mercy Hospital Carthage in Carthage.

He was born September 7, 1936, in Rocky Comfort, the son of Olga and Naomi (Balmas) Lamberson who precede him in death.

Also preceding him in death was his wife, Nancy Carolyn East; wife, Betty Lavelle Higgs and one sister, Donna Watkins.

Survivors include his special friend, Sharon Kay Lombard of Wheaton; one daughter, Teresa Marie Lamberson-Hopper of Wheaton, and one grandchild.

Ralph grew up and received his education in Wheaton, Missouri graduating from Wheaton High School in 1954, later attending the University of Missouri in Columbia. He was involved in the Wheaton Historical Society and Depot Museum.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Waldensian Presbyterian Cemetery in Monett, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. Pastor Greg Snow will conduct the services.
