Trout Tales, April 5

I put on my formal scales Friday and went to take in the Enchanted Ball for K-5th graders at Cassville High School. I’m still not sure what the most enchanting part was. There were about 40 girls armed with fairy wands and spinny dresses, barely visible as they twirled and skipped around the commons. There was a group of older kids huddled between some speakers, and One of their leaders (I think he’s part-giant) managed to corrall the fairies into a game of Simon Says. A final group of people lined the tables in the back, adults seemingly enchanted with the ability to sit down for a while. Afterall, sometimes, that can be the most enchanting possibility of all!
