‘Mission Possible’ takes the stage

The Shell Knob in The Spotlight (SKITS) community theater group is working diligently crafting their respective roles for yet another comedy classic, “Mission Possible,” to be presented April 28-30 at the Central Community United Methodist Church in Shell Knob.

This play, superbly penned by playwright Craig Sadario, and admirably directed by Cade Keeton, of Cassville, brings together a cast of 21 colorful characters in a hilarious comedy spoof of all the favorite television and film spies.

Maxwell Sharpe, agent 98.6, and the debonaire James Blonde meet at Argentum Manor to try to stop the devious arch villain Silverthumb from his plot for world domination by means of the teledrone, the world’s greatest invention!?

This funny, engaging play is enhanced and further brought to life by a supporting cast of unique and interesting characters like Kitty Galore, Axel Greese, Miss Penny Shilling, the girl from A.U.N.T. and many more fascinating personalities.

“This riveting comedy with, as you can see, a huge cast of funny characters makes for an engaging and entertaining evening,” said Craig Burford, with SKITS. “And, as always, we appreciate each and every patron who attends our performance. So, mark your calendar for the presentation of Mission Possible at the Central Community United Methodist Church.
