Jig On the Water

April 12, 2023

The river is at 103 CFS as of Sunday, so dry fly fishing is getting better.

Fish were hitting elk hair caddis, blue wing olives, beetles, ants, stimulators, and para Adams. They all worked well this week.

Glo balls, mega worms, mop flies, pheasant tails, sow bugs, scuds, zebra midges and burlaps are all working well.

Marabou jigs are still working in white, black/ yellow, olive and brown. Black, white, brown and olive spinners are working pretty good.

Powerbait is still working every day. White, fluorescent yellow and fluorescent orange eggs are working well.

The 1” yellow and pink crawlers are still working. The water is starting to clear, so I would recommend as soon as you can switching from 4-pound back to 2-pound fishing line. Good luck this week.
