Water levels are very good as of Sunday, running 70 CFS at the moment.

Water conditions are great for dry fly fishing, and nymphing, caddis hatches are occurring every day, Tricos are also coming off every morning for a few hours, and blue wing olives have been very effective every afternoon. A few trout are being caught on beetles and ants.

Stimulators and small hoppers have been catching a few also. Pheasant tails, burlaps, sow bugs, scuds, copper johns and zebra midges have all been good this past week. There are still plenty of trout being caught on mop flies, Glo balls, and San Juan worms.

Black, olive and brown buggers will work most every day. Plastic baits are still very good in pink and yellow, and white worms have been good. White eggs, natural & shrimp colors have been good also.

Black, olive, pink and brown rooster tail spinners have been working well.

Marabou jigs are still working great, with white, black/yellow, olive and brown all working.

The water is very clear now, so 2-pound line is best. For those fly fishing, 9’7X is best for small flies. 9’6X is working best for nymphs and buggers.
