Cassville Baseball Club hosting tryouts

The Cassville Baseball Club (CBC) is entering its second year of organized play, aiming to fill squads from the 8U age level up to 16U.

Tryouts for the Club will be held July 31 through Aug. 4, and to be eligible, the player must attend the Cassville school district.

The 8U and 9U tryouts will be July 31, 10U and 11U on Aug. 1, 12 U and 13U on Aug. 3 and 14U, 15U and 16U on Aug. 4. All tryouts will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Cassville High School baseball field.

To preregister, people may go to https://forms.gle/6fyjh9RLEPwm2XqL6. On-site registration will begin at 5 p.m. there is no cost to try out.

Cassville Baseball and CBC coaching staff will run the tryouts and perform evaluations and approve final selections.

Those trying out should come dressed like a ball player, with a hat, baseball pants, glove, bat, etc. Catchers should being their own gear.

If selected, the Cassville Baseball Club charges a player fee of $225, and the Club does provide fundraising opportunities to help families cover the cost. Along with the $225, players will be required to sign a letter of commitment.
