Stephen Blaine Williams Sr., 74, of Cleveland, Ga. passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023, after a short battle with lung cancer.

Born in Monett, Mo., the son of the late Carl Blaine Williams and Wilma Norein Shepard-Williams, who preceded him in death.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary McClain Williams; great granddaughter Brooklynn I’Ayda Shyann Creekmore, and grandson Austin Holcombe.

Survivors include his children, Melissa Venza of Cumming Ga., Stephen Blaine Williams, Jr. of Loganville, Ga., Chris Holcombe of Cleveland, Ga. & Davida Gunn of Toccoa; his brother Mike White of Odessa, Mo.; nine grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and always had a sense of humor.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Clio Cemetery in Jenkins, Mo., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Tony Ball will conduct the services.
