Howard Lee “Howie” Wallace, 91, of Holiday Island, Ark. passed away Friday, June 30, 2023, at his home.

He was born September 20, 1931, in Cassville, Mo. to Harry and Myra (Arnold) Wallace, who preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death was one son, Michael Wallace; one brother and one sister.

Survivors include his wife, Betty J. Thomas; two sons, Charles Wallace and his wife Susan of Pekin, Ill. and Allen Wallace and his wife Kathy of Manito, Ill.; one daughter, Tammy Massey and her husband Russell of Grandbury, Texas; seven grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

He grew up and attended school in Cassville, Mo., graduating from Cassville High School. He worked for Gilbert and Associates Construction Company from where he retired.

He was a member if Holiday Island Community Church.

A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, July 8, 2023 at the Holiday Island Community Church and Pastor Dr. Jeffery Timm officiated. Memorial contributions may be made to the Holiday Island Community Church.
