I had my safety gear on at the Ozarks Got Talent show on Saturday at Zone 4 Mini Golf and More. This guy with the nickname “Fahrenheit” — should’ve seen what was coming — was swinging a ball of fire from a rope like he was about to lead the charge of a 16th-century battle for the fjord! After that, he started breathing fire with some combustable in a small plastic bottle. I don’t know what was in that bottle, but I can guarantee it wasn’t water. Finally, as if swinging the blazing meteor hammer wasn’t impressive enough, this barefoot performer remained unburned, I think, as he shot fireworks from the end of his ignited rope dart. The whole act was terrific, but it made me a little nervous. Usually, when people around me have a fire, I end up doused in butter and lemon. Glad to have survived this time!
