Jimmy Lee Sparks, 59, of Cassville Mo. passed away Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Mercy Hospital Cassville.

He was born October 21, 1963, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Monett, Mo. to James and Sharon (Grimes) Sparks, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his eldest brother Doyle Ray Sparks, nephew Morgan James Murphy, best friend Leah Moss and his loyal pet Curly.

Survivors include his baby sister, Teresa Lynn Boxley and her husband Karroll Boxley of Cassville. His sister-inlaw Madonna Sparks. Three nephews; Levi Boxley, Logan Boxley and Dakota Sparks. Six nieces; Jessica Roque, Kamala Harris, Kaylee Long, Emerald Murphy, Tiffany Swanigan and Brittany Sparks. He also has several great nieces and nephews that adored him.

He grew up and attended school in Cassville. In his youth, he enjoyed hunting with his grandfather, father and brother.

A special thanks to Cox South, Eagle Transportation and Ozark Dialysis; Jimmy truly found a sense of family with the staff during his health journey.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 18, 2023 at Russell Cemetery in Butterfield, Mo., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Tony Ball will conduct the services.
