Mary Alice Bivins, 71, of Purdy, Mo. passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Cox Monett Hospital in Monett, Mo.

She was born June 25, 1952, in Washington, D.C. the daughter of Robert Shearer, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters, Angelina Hernandez and her husband JC of Purdy, Mo., Lolita Arias and her husband Gabriel of Jackson, Miss. and Needia Bivins of Fairview, Mo. and 11 grandchildren.

She moved to Purdy, Mo. 11 years ago coming from Kansas.

Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
