Maria Kay Phipps, 55, of Cassville, Mo., passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Roaring River Health and Rehab in Cassville, Mo.

ShewasbornNovember 11, 1968, in Cassville, Mo., where she lived her entire life.

Survivors include her mother, Linda Kay Phipps of Cassville, Mo., her aunt and uncle, Nancy and Jim Crowell of Columbia, Mo. and many cousins and special friends.

Preceding her in death was her father, Marvin Phipps and her aunt, Audry Stanifer.

She was one of the first children to attend Barry-Lawrence County Development Center. From the age of five until 21 she attended Oakview State School in Monett, Mo.and then attended the ARC Day Program in Cassville. After the sudden death of her father, Maria entered Roaring River Health and Rehab where she was lovingly cared for day and night.

Graveside services were held Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Jeff Fugitt conducted the services.
