eper Mae Ruth Leeper, 89, of Cassville, Mo. passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville, Mo.

She was born December 24, 1933, in Willard, Mo. the daughter of Earl and Nellie (Baker) Boatman, who preceded her in death.

Also preceding her in death was her husband, Joe Leeper; one brother, Robert Boatman and one sister, Opal Hope.

Survivors include two sons, Patrick Leeper and his wife Patricia of Springfield, Mo. and Kevin Leeper and his wife Sherry of Oklah. City, Oklah.; two daughters, Teresa Lozo of Helix, Ore. and Janet Simpkins and her husband Jeff of Ozark, Mo.; one brother, James Boatman of Lebanon, Mo.; two sisters- in-law, Clara Leeper of Walnut Grove, Mo. and Gail Boatman of Fordland, Mo.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She attended school in Walnut Grove, Mo., graduating from Walnut Grove High School. In 1958 she and Joe moved to Cassville where they made their home and raised their children.

She was employed as a layout artist by Litho Printers in Cassville for 15 years.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 15, 2023, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Rick Cooper will conduct the services.
