You’ve heard of Elf on the Shelf — now get ready for.........Trout on the route! We picked our spot on Route C on Saturday for the final Christmas parade of the year in Purdy. This year’s parades have been phenomenal, and we only have a few suggestions for next year. First, can they move any faster? I’m cold-blooded but I about froze my fins off each week! Next, can we hire some candy cleanup crews? I think part of Main Street in Cassville is just made of Jolly Rancher now. Good luck paving over that, MoDOT! Finally, I saw lots of drones this year. Can we strap Santa to one of those bad boys? I know reindeer are his thing, but it’s 2023 — time to step up the tech!
