Larry John Allen, 73, of Eureka Springs, Ark. passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at his home.

He was born December 22, 1950, in Great Bend, Kan., the son of Arlis John and Faye (Stiles) Allen who preceded him in death.

Also preceding him in death was his stepfather, Wayne Farwell; his older brother, Jerry Duane Allen and his sister-inlaw, Janice (Williams) Allen.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Wright; one daughter, Amanda Faye Allen of Cassville, Mo.; one stepdaughter, Teresa McMillan and her husband Bryan of Omaha, Ark.; one stepson, Rickey Salkil and his fiancé Taylor Baswell of Springfield, Mo.; one brother, Gary Lee Allen and his wife Pam of Cassville, Mo.; one sister, Janet Sue Allen Goforth of Eureka Springs, Ark.; seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

He attended school in Cassville, Mo. graduating from Cassville High School in 1969. He was a retired teamster, working in construction building highways.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at McGuire Cemetery in Shell Knob, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Wayne Writer will conduct the services.
