Dwaine Eldon Herrin, 90, of Marionville, Mo. passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
He was born August 31, 1933, in Hennessy, Okla. the son of Clarence Edward and Florence (Brown) Herrin, who preceded him in death.
Also preceding him in death was his brother, Clarence Edward Herrin, Jr. and his wife, and one son, Bradley Edward Herrin.
Survivors include his wife, Jenive Irene “Jennie” McGrew; one son, Brent Eric Herrin and his wife Cordelia, two grandchildren, all of Cassville, Mo.; brothers- in-law, J.R. McGrew of Marionville, Mo. and Roy McGrew of Crescent, Okla., and many nieces and nephews.
He attended school in Pioneer, Okla. graduating from Pioneer High School. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was employed by EFCO Corporation in Monett, Mo. for many years. He then became a realtor selling real estate for 20 years and lastly, he worked for the United States Postal Service for 15 years from where he retired at the age of 84. He also farmed raising cattle.
Visitation was held Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
