A Cassville man was struck by a vehicle on Feb. 11 at 12:02 a.m. on Highway 60, half a mile west of Monett.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, James Hardesty, 31, of Cassville, was crossing the roadway in the dark when he was struck by a 2014 Chevrolet Impala, being driven by Karsyn Hardin, 32, of Monett.
Hardesty suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. Hardin was not injured.
Hardin was wearing a safety device, and Hardesty was exempt from one, being on foot. The vehicle sustained minor damage.
